I stayed at a lake house in devils lake in Lincoln city. That place was beautiful . Good for jet skiing and speed boating. here's the panoramic picture from the backside of the house. This picture was formed by stitching together 4 different pictures.

Pacific city Surfing

The picture says it all. Surfer looking back at the sea that she just conquered. Having one hard look at the ocean before loading up the surf back on to the truck and start the drive back home.

RA Wetlands

I took this picture in a local wetlands area. I used the selective coloring option in my camera to take this picture. Not to mention I love the macro mode in my camera to death. I will post more macro mode pictures soon. I did sharpen the picture after. I dont know the name for this flower though. If you happen to know, leave a comment.

Saturday Market, Portland, Oregon

Saturday Market is one of the most unique things in Portland. Its got so many shops and so many other shows going on all the time. Its a fun place to hang out and eat.
Just as a note contrary to its name Saturday market is open on sundays also.
Saturday Market is one more reason I love Portland .

Pacific City, Oregon coast

This picture was taken during summer but it is one of my personal favorites. This was taken during sunset at this nice little place called pacific city in the oregon coast. Pacific city is a great place in the oregon coast. I love how the house on the right is on top of the hill and totally covered by trees. That picture is very noisy I just added it because I would love to live in a place like that.

Portland TrailBlazers vs Raptors

This post is a like week late. I went to this Portland TrailBlazers game last week but did not get a chance to process my pictures. As always I have added two of my favourite pictures here. First image is Ruben Patterson going for a dunk. Image is proceessed using water color effect to give it the art effect. Second one was something that was a little tough to take. I took it using the panning technique i.e. moving the camera along with the player. You can see that the background is really blurry. Ofcourse I wasted so many other takes to get this good one. Anyways more pictures are located here.

Blazers vs Kings

Allright we are going back to Trail Blazer basketball again. On Saturday( Oct 21'05) Portland TrailBlazers played Sacarmento Kings in Portland. All Ex Blazers seems to be headed towards Kings these days. Shareef Abdur Rahim joined the Kings this season and so did Bonzi Wells. Bonzi wells new target would be Blazers ex-coach Rick Adelman. Good luck Rick. As for the actual game Blazers lost to Kings by more than 20 points. Hopefully all this growing pains will be over in the next year and Blazers will go back to the glory days. Rose garden ( The one with Roses)

We have been seeing quite a few pictures from the Rose Garden Arena where Portland Trail Blazers play but from there we now move to the actual Rose Garden in Washington square park. I took this trip a while back and got some pictures of the roses. Hope you will like this one. The first pic is just a rose after a short shower. Second one is of a eagle, that picture has been extremely cropped hence the bad quality and the third one is a view of Portland downtown through the trees and the final one is some flower that I dont know the name for.

Portland Trail Blazers Vs Seattle Supersonics

Basketball season is here. October till April is like living in heaven for any sports fan. There is NFL, College Football and Basketball. Although its still only pre season in basket ball I cannot wait for the regular season to start. What better way to start the basketball season than the I-5 rivalry between Portland Trail Blazers and Seattle Super Sonics. Blazers with their new youth movement look to be a real exciting team to watch. Blazers youth movement was off to a great start winngin the first game against Sonics 82-75. This game also had the added storyline that the Blazers new coach is someone who was the face of Sonic organizatoin for the past 19 years. Portland Trail Blazers Scrimmage

I went to the Blazers scrimmage on Sunday(Oct 9 '05 ) . Team is split into the Black team and White team and play amongst themselves. White team won the game. It was exciting to watch all these new blazer players. I have the complete collection here. If you like these or hate these pics let me know. Seattle Seahawks Vs Atlanta Falcons

I went to watch the seahawks play the Atlanta Falcons at the Qwest field. I supported Falcons being a big fan of Michael Vick. Unfortunately Seahawks won the game 21-18. Anyways I had a good time. End of summer

Summers out the door so it starting pouring over the weekend and its going to be raining for the next 8 months. So long summer. I got a few pics of water droplets from my trip around washington square park. I will add more picstures from rose garden in the next few days. I took these pics from inside my car looking at the sunroof.

Oregon symphony

Photography is my new hobby and i will post pics as and when possible. Most of these would be from portland area and surroundings and some would be from outside based upon where i am travelling.
